Hickory HQ – Southbank
ATN was engaged to deliver a world class Fibre to the Premise solution for the Hickory HQ in South Melbourne. The building has 2 separate lead-ins for carrier diversity as well as underfloor cabling to ensure tenants can enjoy high quality internet without the visual amenity of cabling.
88 Beaconsfield Pde
The developer of this greenfield project requested assistance due to NBN delays, which were affecting residents' move-in timelines. We cabled the entire building and installed a 10 Gbps microwave backhaul, ensuring Gigabit internet access for all apartments. The entire project was completed within three weeks.
29 Genoa St
ATN was engaged to deploy the complete Fibre-to-the-Premises (FttP) solution for BuildKomm’s second Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) project. BuildKomm’s first project in the area was initially equipped with NBN infrastructure. However, after completion, the Owners Corporation engaged DGtek to overbuild the existing NBN setup with DGtek Optical Fibre infrastructure. DGtek then engaged ATN to retrofit the entire building with optical fibre. The success of this retrofit project led to DGtek being chosen as the incumbent telecommunications provider for subsequent new builds.
The Elwood Showcase Deployment
The Elwood showcase deployment included the construction of
• A dedicated telecommunications exchange and outdoor cabinet
• An entirely new pit and pipe infrastructure in one of the oldest and most infrastructure-congested suburbs
• Redundant fibre links to major data centres in Port Melbourne
Edgewater Towers
Alongside the underground infrastructure work in Elwood, the ATN team delivered Fibre-to-the-Premises (FttP) services to every apartment in Edgewater Towers, Melbourne's first privately developed high-rise apartment block. While other companies declined the project due to its non-standard and outdated infrastructure, ATN employed an agile approach, completing the FttP deployment in record time.
Eureka Tower
One of Melbourne’s most iconic high-rise buildings, Eureka Tower, was connected to DGtek’s optical fibre infrastructure in 2022 following their acquisition of Spirit Telecom’s residential business. ATN collaborated with DGtek engineers to design and deploy a Fibre-to-the-Premises (FttP) network, providing all residents with access to 1/1 Gbps speeds, even during peak times.
590 Camberwell
As one of DGtek's greenfield projects, ATN was engaged to design and install GPON-based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FttP) infrastructure and public Wi-Fi in this newly built residential complex.
